Birthday and Belly Shots

So, today Ms. Maya had her "Cake and Ice Cream Affair" i.e.: Parents too broke for a real party, so everyone just ate cake and ice cream. It took everyone a while to finally get to our apartment, but once they did we had fun. When we were singing "Happy Birthday" to Maya, she started to cry. It was soo funny! I'm not sure what sparked that, but it was funny nonetheless. Of course, we suck because no one got any footage of that. She ended up with a lot of toys and clothes. So much so, that I'm really contemplating buying her any more toys for Christmas. I'll buy her some shoes and maybe a couple of outfits. I think DH is going to buy her a Barbie Jeep-the battery operated kind, the type you can ride in-which will be fun for her. Okay...here are some photos! And...some 9 week 4 day belly shots!

Today!

Today, my little princess is 2 years old! HOOOOORAAAHHHH!!! I'm so excited, but to be honest, a part of me is sad. She's growing up so fast. I am not looking forward to the day when she's 16 and asking me to borrow the keys so she can go on a date...just the thought alone is making me nauseous. I'll post pics of her "Cake and Ice Cream" Affair tomorrow, as well as my weekly belly shots. Until then, good folks...

I don't remember...

Ever being this sick with Maya. This is ridiculous! I mean, I've gone from nausea to dizziness, to headaches from sore boobs. Right now, it's a combination of all 4. Maybe this means a boy??? I'm hoping so, because I can't find a good girl name that begins with an M and is not Michaela. I can't use that name because my bestie has chosen that name for her daughter-she's had that name since 10th grade...I've come up with Mekhi if it a boy. The more I say it, though, the weirder it sounds to me. I think it's the combination of "kh" in the name that makes it feel weird. A lot of words are like that for me. Fork, diarrhea, doughnut, partial, etc. The more I say those words, the weirder they feel in my mouth. I'm sure I'm not making sense...If we do have a girl, I know this time Elizabeth-Anne will be the middle name. My Grandma's middle name is Elizabeth and my mom's middle name is Anne. It's really 19th century, but that's what I like about it. Some girl names and the meanings that I'm kinda' digging:

I don't know...it's way to early to be pulling out the name book, seeing as how I have to make it through the first trimester. Til next post...

Belly Shots

So, as promised, here are the belly shots for 8 weeks, 3 days. Common disclaimer: It is not the best looking belly, but it's mines and I'm okay with it for now...after July 2009 I swear to the Holy Child of God that I am going to lose this weight. That is a different blog all together and I am just postponing the uncomfortable.

You can kind of see my belly...mostly it's all gut...

Alright...

So, previously I was on wordpress.com. I was not happy with the options there, so I decided to try blogspot. Generally, I'll type whatever the hell is on my mind at the time. Like right now, I'm nauseous...soooo nauseous. I'm dizzy, my head hurts, and I'm nauseous. Oh yeah, I'm 8 weeks pregnant.
I'm also a newlywed, married to my love on Oct. 18th, 2008.

The little girl you see in the bottom right corner is my daughter. She will be 2 years old this month, and the girl is a hand full. I love her, though. So, I guess that's it for now. I will post in a couple of days with my bloated belly shots...oh yeah, I'm doing those. I was inspired by a couple of my forum friends who were also posting their pregnant bellies. So, here is 7 weeks, 3 days.

Yeah, it's not pretty, but it's mines and that's okay. Well...alright. See ya' in a couple of days!
