So, *whispering* I snuck out and went to see Watchmen by myself...teeheehee...and the geek in me just about died of too much excitement watching the previews. There were three-"Star Trek", "Angels and Demons", and "X-Men: Origins". I'm happy there were only two of us in the theater, because I was sooo excited my booty was clinched for like 10 minutes. LOL Okay, TMI but I thought it would be funny. Here are the three trailers.
Angels and Demons:
Star Trek:
X-Men: Origins:
Isn't Hugh Jackman simply dreamy??? *Sigh* I have demanded-since hubby's off days will change next month to include Sundays-that we go to the movies every Sunday to catch up. We haven't been to the movies since Spiderman 3 thanks to Little Miss "Can't be Quiet". I understand though, she's a little girl and hasn't quite grasped inside and outside voice. I digress, though...I only hope these movies don't dissapoint like "Watchmen" did. It was okay, but not worth the $20 bucks it costs to see it(cuz' of course my fat self had to have nachos...with the Sam's Club sized Coca-Cola LOL). I am SUPER STOCKED!!!!!!!! Oh yeah, how could I forget Up? That movie looks totally awesome!

Don't shoot me...
Yeah, I promised I'd do better with posting. I even started to keep a notepad so when I thought those random thoughts I could post them. I've got no excuse other than pure laziness. There's been a lot going on around here. I've had my second ultrasound and found out I was having a boy. HOORAY! Of course, my husband acted like a huge jerk and sulked the entire day. He wanted another little girl. Here are the pics of the ultrasound:

My birthday just passed, on the 25th(GO ARIES!!!!)and of course, the day was an awful one at first. I had a rough work day, then to top it off traffic was horrendous! When I got home, though, my husband and daughter showed me what they were up to that day. They made me my favorite cake: yellow cake with chocolate icing.

Well...that's really all I can think of right now. I'll post as soon as I remember what else to post. LOL

Belly Shots
Going through some things
So, Thursday my baby sis called me to tell me my Uncle passed away. I called my Father right away, and he started to cry. This is a man who NEVER cries. Freaked me out completely. Apparently, my Uncle passed in his sleep and my Aunt found him that morning. I just couldn't believe it...the last memory of my Uncle was not a good one, or necessarily a recent one. His life has been tragic. Of course it made me think about what kind of impression we leave with our loved ones once we're gone. It also made me realize how that old cliche' is true: Tomorrow is never promised. It's been hard for me, since I'm super emotional right now. I feel like I'm a prism and every one's energy is flowing through me...if that makes any sense. Like I take on the feelings of my loved ones. I can feel my father's anger, guilt, sadness, and love. While I loved my Uncle, because of the distance between us and the way he lived his life it was not very hard for me to accept his death. No, let me stop. I haven't completely accepted it. I still question as to why MY Uncle had to go. He was turning his life around...but now it's over. On the other hand, my best friend just had her baby today. Today!!!!! Her water broke this morning and within 5 hours her life has changed. She is no longer Chelle...she's a mommy now. I'm so excited for her, but I'm really hurting for my father. I hope to see the both of them this weekend.
